Product Reviews and How-To's
Good: It's a good board that feels nice under my feet. Far more rigid and less surfy than my previous board which means I feel more comfortable going fast. The battery lasts longer and the board goes faster than what I had previously. Bad: I've had it for a total of 2 days and the tail paint is peeling from standing it on the tail or popping it up - otherwise the build quality is good (2 days in...). There's still a few things I'm getting used to, but the main issue I have with the ride, is how slow it brakes, and a lack of customization of accelaration and deceleration curves. There doesn't seem to be a USB port on the board battery so no easy way of connecting lights etc. Accessories: The remote and charger feel cheap compared to other brands, especially considering how much the board costs. The charger cord is quite short. The remote doesn't display the speed or distance(?) correctly (this may be due to custom teeth setup, but feel like it should be shipped in the right config). Not sure I like the brakes and accelaration on a single input - feel like these should be split into two but I might just need to get used to it. I like the odometer on the remote and the board was shipped with 2 sets of belts which is cool.
